Monaghan Peace Campus is located in the northern part of Monaghan Town, just a 2-minute walk from Monaghan Bus Station and directly opposite Lidl. Convenient underground public parking is available, offering over 110 spaces to accommodate visitors. The campus is easily accessible for all modes of travel.

What To Expect

  • Parking

    Free disabled parking bays are situated in the separate underground public car park with lift access to all Levels. There are over 110 car spaces with long stay (red lines) and short stay (white lines) spaces. Please note there are 6 different payment machines for each area. Payment machines accept Sterling, Euros or cash (coins only). There is also an App – Free Parking is available after 6pm Monday to Saturday, Sundays and Bank Holidays .

  • Café Area 

    A self-service barista bar on the ground floor is a quiet place to enjoy a coffee, relax and unwind. Counter snacks will also be available soon. Later on this year a Social Enterprise Partnership Café will open with seating for refreshments, snacks and lunches. Please note, no outside food or drink is permitted in the Peace Campus, Museum or Library.

  • Are any hire rooms free of charge?

    All rooms are hireable only. Rates include 23% VAT.  Rates and prices available on request from Reception and/or contacting info@monaghanpeacecampus.com.

  • Are pets and animals permitted in the building?

    Assistance and Guide Dogs ONLY are permitted in the Peace Campus)

  • Can I bring my own food and drink into the Peace Campus

    No food or drink is permitted. Drinks can be purchased and consumed from the barista bar and consumed in the Café area only.

  • Do you have office spaces to rent short term and/or long term?

    Yes. There is office space available to rent by the half day, full day or longer if required.

  • Do you have to book a room or hire space for a whole day?

    No. Rooms can be booked for a minimum of 1 hour, unless it is an office space, which is bookable for a half day minimum.

  • Do you provide hospitality for events and activities in your hire spaces and rooms?

    Yes. Hospitality is provided with a range of menus to choose from. Catering includes 13.5% VAT.

  • How do you book a room?

    Yes. The town library is free to visit.

  • Is the Museum free to visit?

    Yes. Monaghan County Museum is free to visit.

    Visitors can relax, unwind and enjoy a coffee in the Café barista bar area on the ground floor.

  • When is the café opening?

    Currently a self-service Barista Bar is situated in the café area for consumption of purchased beverages.  Counter snacks will be available soon. A Social Enterprise partnership café will open in later in 2025 offer light breakfasts, lunches and refreshments.
