The Peace Campus is administered by Monaghan County Council Directorate and has adopted a Social Charter to distinguish it from any other council service.
Our Social Charter is a set of principles which guide and inspire our civic engagement with communities, societies, partners and stakeholders in peace. It is aligned to UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, and represents our civic commitment to engage with all societies.
Our Social Charter is based on three core principles:
1. Facilitating and promoting peace in communities local, nationally and globally
2. Creating a positive impact on all societies via peacebuilding
3. Engaging in Civic Culture and Intercultural Dialogue
